Baroque Horses - Not USEF Recognized

Baroque Horse Division: The term Baroque Horse describes a group of horse breeds, usually descended from and retaining the distinctive characteristics of a particular type of horse found in Europe during the Baroque era. Breeds to include Andalusian, Frederiksborger, Friesian, Ginetta, Kladruber, Lipizzan, Lusitano, Menorquin and Murgese. Partbreds are also eligible. May be shown in the following riding styles: Dressage, Saddle Seat, Hunt Seat or Western. Horses shall be shown at the walk, working trot, trot or jog, canter or lope. Horses shall have fluid, elegant and suspended gaits. To be judged on manners, performance and quality. Emphasis shall be placed on the ability to give a good pleasure ride. Copy of Registration papers required to compete.


36 Baroque Pleasure Driving  - Open

To be shown at an animated walk, park trot and “show your horse.” Stand quietly.

Shown: enter counter clockwise at the walk. Walk and trot or jog/trot both ways of the ring. Not to back. Judged: performance, type, quality, manners and conformation.

82 Baroque Walk and Trot – Open - Championship

Shown: enter counter clockwise at the walk. Walk and trot or jog/trot both ways of the ring. Not to back. Judged: performance, type, quality, manners and conformation.

 To be eligible, horses must be entered, shown and judged in class 42.

120 Baroque Pleasure Driving – Open - Championship

To be shown at an animated walk; park trot and “show your horse”. Stand quietly. 

To be eligible, horses must be entered, shown and judged in class 36.

Open Halter Division - Not USEF Recognized

Entries of any age shall be shown with a halter and single lead line. The halter will be English, Western or Breed style. Horses shall be shown at the walk and trot, entering the ring one at a time in the order that show management designates. The horses shall proceed instructed by the Ringmaster, they will then line up in the center of the ring for conformation inspection. These classes shall be judged 60% on conformation, 30% on quality and naturalness of gait and 10% on appearance, grooming and manners.
